The child threw her teddy-bear which
came bouncing towards
me. It had wild
ferocious eyes and its
mouth was open; its teeth
sharp and hungry.
I have had this dream several times, and each time I have woken up in alarm at this point. But what if, on some future occasion, I am still asleep when the teddy-bear reaches me?
